Do mining companies have "duty to consult" on Crown land?
Wahgoshig First Nation won their injunction against Solid Gold (see EPCM World blog post for the full story). Do mining companies have a “duty to consult” First Nations before exploration activities take place? Or should this duty lie with the Crown?
