Michael Muhlenburg
Currently I hold the role as Executive with Wild Well Controls Marine Operations Division for Project Support Services and Controls. My oversight areas include Reporting, Costing, Estimating, Invoicing, Accounting, Invoicing, Procurement, Logistics, Scheduling, WBS, Budget Analysis and Inventory. In addition, this area develops designs, leads the Project Support Services efforts for all Marine and global projects and is responsible for the overall development of the Support Services, process, procedures, and departments integration internal to the department and with other vertical departments. Assist project team members in understanding all aspects of the role and application of the deliverables from the Project Support Services activities including logistics and procurement reports, schedule documents and cost reports and associated products.
Currently I report to the Sr Vice President of Marine, whereby I provide leadership and oversight to influence management support of integrated project functions that include Project Control activities on a project, including: baseline schedules, control budgets, project code of accounts, Commitment tracking, expenditures, cash flow forecasts, analysis, and change control processes, and estimating.
In January 2008 I completed my assignment as the Sr. Dir. IS&T Business Technology, PMO, CIO Chief of Staff for a large, multi-national software development corporation with US $3 - $5 billion in sales, 5,000 employees and development offices located in India and marketing and sales offices located domestically and internationally. I held responsibility for all CIO-related advisory services, as well as serving as the senior member of CIO’s management team.
My 20 years as a skilled diverse executive in information technology developing and implementing corporate solutions for small to medium/large corporations (e.g. Software, Internet-GPS, Telecommunications, Pharmaceutical, International-Domestic Transportation & Logistics and Oil & Gas currently). This ability to apply best practices for technology and business planning (internally and externally) for defining and implementing strategies, guidelines, process and controls along with standards for department areas, as well as management proposals, M&A and contracts with suppliers, customers and business threads’.
This experience has strengthened my abilities as an executive with responsibilities gained in my 20 years in a leadership role in global diversified roles and responsibilities. I worked closely with business owners, executive committees, and departmental staffs to ensure that business areas are aligned globally with the organizations’ objectives. This alignment has been the source of leadership and guidance where I have implemented, led and set corporate direction and standards. This focused alignment has allowed me to hold area responsibilities for steering committees, governance, standards, IT, Operations, Compliance, and Security, which enables the organization the flexibility for a business oriented approach.
I build and generate relationships at all levels across the organization and departments’ to define and align against organizational objectives; whereby I incorporate information into technology solutions.
